Responsibilities
Lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex, high-visibility municipal projects
Oversee and approve design concepts, construction documents, and technical deliverables
Manage project budgets, schedules, scopes, and resources to ensure successful outcomes
Serve as the primary client liaison, presenting design solutions and managing feedback
Mentor and supervise Landscape Architects, junior staff, and design team members
Coordinate with engineers, planners, contractors, and regulatory agencies
Conduct site visits to support construction administration and ensure design intent
Contribute to design standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture
Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) required
Minimum of 7 years of professional landscape architecture experience
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
Strong experience leading municipal or public-sector projects
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD
Proficiency with SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, or similar visualization tools
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
Preferred
Master's degree in Landscape Architecture
Experience with Civil 3D or Revit
Familiarity with GIS tools and project management software
