Responsibilities
Enforce owner/program standards while reviewing A/E designs
Review and provide guidance on proposed site development designs and reports such as geotech reports, foundation, and structural designs
Generate owner requirements, specifications and guidelines
Identify and analyze sustainable buildings materials and practices to meet company goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent practical experience
10 years of experience in structural engineering and geotechnical principles and practices as well as related technical areas within mission critical building design
10 years of experience in Civil/Structural or Site Engineering
Experience implementing civil/structural engineering principles (e.g., grading and drainage, hydraulic modeling, sediment control, erosion control, or soil migration)
Experience with building design, coordination, and construction
Preferred
Master's degree in Chartered engineering, civil engineering, structural engineering or a related field
Knowledge of site layout, grading, drainage, road and infrastructure layouts
Ability to communicate technical issues effectively in written and verbal forms with special consideration given to online collaboration and presentations
Ability to work in a team/collaborative environment, and communicate technical issues effectively in written and verbal forms
