2+ years expAscentek is a company dedicated to improving the lives of its customers and communities. They are seeking an Equipment and Service Technician who will install and service various equipment, provide excellent customer service, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

Responsibilities
Install and set up new equipment independently with minimal supervision or direction
Install air and fluid piping, pumps, tanks, and reels
Display mechanical aptitude to service and repair a variety of equipment
Drive to customer sites to troubleshoot equipment issues, perform required repairs, and answer customer questions
Ability to problem solve tough issues without a clear solution
Accurately log and report parts and inventory used to complete repairs
Interact with management and other personnel to analyze and correct any equipment performance issues
Follow specific preventative maintenance schedules
Perform preventative maintenance checks on all machine components, replacing items as needed
Complete field service reports and close out work orders as necessary
Complete and submit daily/weekly online timecard and expense report
Responsibility of company service van being stocked and maintained
Participate in weekly tech meetings
Other duties as required
Be willing to travel with the possibility of staying overnights
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Proven 2-5 years of field service experience
Valid driver's license, including the ability to obtain a Health Card
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Mechanical skills and aptitude
Construction / Trade experience pipefitting / electrical / plumbing / HVAC / Carpentry
Ability to read and comprehend schematics and blueprints
Team player with a positive attitude
Strong customer service ability
Ability to regularly lift at least 50 pounds independently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally
Required to have the ability to maneuver around a job site including small spaces in and around our equipment including continuous bending, kneeling, and stooping regularly
Perform work on ladders and lifts
