Program Director, Pediatric Surgical Specialty Program
University Health, a nationally recognized teaching hospital, is seeking an experienced Program Director to lead their Pediatric Surgical Specialty Program. This role involves providing strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure high-quality pediatric surgical care while collaborating with top medical professionals in a growing healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
Oversee the clinical workflow for pediatric surgery across inpatient and outpatient settings
Ensure compliance with accreditation standards including NICU, PICU, CSV, and NSQIP-Peds
Lead strategic planning, market analysis, and business development for pediatric surgical services
Partner with hospital and system leadership to implement growth initiatives and expand service lines
Represent University Health in the community, building relationships with referring providers and partner organizations
Lead and mentor a team of pediatric surgery program personnel, fostering a culture of excellence, respect, and teamwork
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required
5+ years of progressive management experience in healthcare operations, with at least 3 years in pediatric or surgical services
Clinical operations and business development experience strongly preferred
RN license (Texas) preferred but not required. Healthcare management certification a plus
