Responsibilities
Resource to provide analysis support to Accounting with working knowledge of the NTD (National Transit Database) components and requirements as well as possessing experience in completing the NTD reporting and filing
Resources should have working knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft
Work directly with Capital Budget group to prepare and tie-out the Federal Funds Report (FFR) and Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA) and other related reports
Execute and provide guidance to other professional staff related in the analysis and development and implementation of financial reports related to capital expenditures and analysis
Includes variance analysis on differing types of projects, inclusive of reimbursable projects funded by Federal, State, Local Jurisdictions or other third-party entities, as well as other management reports
Skilled and knowledgeable in account analysis and reconciliations
Familiar with the preparation and review of reconciliations, including supporting documentation as well as review of reconciling items for appropriateness
Experience in creating journal entries with proper supporting documentation, reviewing, and obtaining proper approval according to defined procedures for submitted journal entries and supporting documentation to ensure alignment with standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred
5+ years' relevant experience
2+ years' experience at a manager level related to engagements for the public and/or private sector, Federal, State or Local governments or in another specialized area as defined by a task order
