Akkodis Group Nordics is seeking a Developer for a Contract position in Alpharetta, GA. The role involves building Camel routes and pipelines, owning end-to-end development, and debugging responsibilities while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade application components using Core Java, Spring technologies, and Apache Camel
Build and optimize integration routes and pipelines leveraging Messaging frameworks (JMS, Kafka, RabbitMQ) and Enterprise Integration Patterns
Own the full SDLC, including coding, unit/integration testing, debugging, and deployment of mission‑critical services
Perform advanced troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and code optimization to ensure performance, stability, and reliability
Collaborate closely with QA, architecture teams, and business stakeholders to align requirements, manage dependencies, and support delivery
Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and architectural guidelines across all developed components

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related engineering/technical field
8–10+ years of hands‑on experience in Core Java development with strong exposure to Spring and messaging frameworks
Deep expertise in Core Java, Spring ecosystem, messaging technologies (JMS/Kafka/RabbitMQ), and proven hands‑on experience with Apache Camel for integration route/pipeline development
Demonstrated ability to own the full SDLC, perform advanced debugging and RCA, and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams while adhering to coding, security, and architectural standards
