As a Staff Accountant Associate, you will support two Staff Accountants, work on journal entries and reconciliations, and contribute to special projects that impact internal teams and field partners.

Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries—including accruals and reclasses—for both P&L and balance sheet
Review monthly P&L expenses allocated to store back‑office systems
Reconcile accounts and prepare supporting balance sheet documentation
Compile monthly store P&Ls and explain fluctuations using standard guidelines
Translate financial insights for non‑financial partners in the field
Bring fresh ideas to streamline and automate internal accounting processes
Support field‑facing initiatives and internal special projects
Work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, highly accurate, team‑driven environment
Qualification
Required
Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
Candidates with 60+ college credit hours will also be considered
1 year of related accounting experience preferred
Proficient in Excel and Outlook
Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial partners
Detail-oriented, curious, and eager to contribute to process improvements
Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and Cadency is a plus
