Responsibilities

Performs all phases of web administration including adherence to ADA Compliance requirements
Analyzes process, develops action plans and implements solutions
Performs project management related to web activities and information flow processes
Maintains documentation related to tasks
Provides guidance and coordinates web content from many sources within the County and outside the County
Administers WEB specific application security
Plans and recommends web related software training
Ensures proper and efficient operation of the Sheriff Web Site, maintaining consistent structure, content, graphics and links of all web pages
Consults with management to determine content requirement and priorities
Prepares feasibility analysis and develops recommended action plans
Assists in the recommendation of hardware and software requirements for the future expansion of the web site
Maintain records, logs, and files related to tasks
Performs all phases of web administration for both internal and external SharePoint Online, Teams, and WordPress sites as well as documentation
Use Formstack to develop forms for internal and external sites
Responsibility for collecting, analyzing, and developing processes and action plans for WebEOC (site used to manage active Office of Disaster Management activations)
Maintains and provides applicable structure, content, graphics, and links to the Boulder Office of Disaster Management site (this site is an external site used by the community during activations and/or for disaster preparedness content)
Responsible for recommending technology to streamline work processes. For example, building a ticketing solution using Microsoft Forms, PowerAutomate, and SharePoint Online for our Communications, Radio Shop, and Records divisions for internal and external users
Assistance with imaging desktops, laptops, and mobile data computers for the Sheriff’s Office
Participates and contributes to countywide web meetings
Part of the Sheriff Computer Support after-hours support to help triage after-hour tickets. This requires weeklong assignment of 24/7 support for Sheriff Office tickets
Utilizes the County Ticketing system for tracking and managing tasks
Performs related work, as required
May be reassigned in an emergency situation requiring extra work hours outside of normal scheduled hours

Required

Minimum of 9 years of combined education and experience
Demonstrated expert knowledge of Internet related technologies and one or more database technologies
Thorough knowledge of Colorado's Digital Accessibility Law HB-21-1110, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA
Thorough knowledge of document accessibility remediation using Adobe Acrobat Pro or CommonLook Accessibility software
Thorough knowledge, understanding, and effective utilization of job-related information, technical skills and procedures
Ability to troubleshoot a variety of problems
Ability to work well with staff, the public, and personnel in other departments or agencies
Demonstrated ability to interact with others in a way that results in cooperation, mutual respect and common benefit
