Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating with the marketing department the development and deployment of the new landing page in order to be aligned with students’ perception and needs. This could include content updates and event promotions
Coordinate small edits in Canva (design platform) to submit for posting or under the Director’s guidance
Help coordinate speaker details for in‑person panels or webinars
Ensure that the basic logistics (room reservations, AV check‑ins, virtual‑platform setup) has been deployed with other departments
Help prepare name badges, programs, and follow‑up thank‑you notes when needed
Create draft of promos for approval and email reminders in Canva templates
Distribute promotional materials (digital flyers, calendar invites)
Monitor sign‑ups and share attendance counts with the Director
Help coordinate specific events related to the center
Send reminders about application deadlines, pre‑departure meetings, and paperwork
Help promote events to students
Assist director in class related tasks when needed
Qualification
Required
Current Chapman undergraduate or graduate student
Able to balance the workload without affecting the educational priorities of the school year
Good knowledge of marketing (coursework or campus involvement)
Comfortable using Canva or similar design tools for simple graphics
Strong time-management and ability to juggle multiple small tasks
Clear written and verbal communication; friendly and approachable
Attention to detail for checking copy, schedules, and logistics lists
Willingness to learn new platforms
Comfortable using AI platform for efficiency
Good critical thinking aptitude
Preferred
Junior or Senior Business or Marketing Major with strong analytical skills
Video editing experience would be a plus
