Assistant Director, Strategic Solutions

Responsibilities

Lead and manage technical teams to analyze complex business needs, define requirements, and deliver scalable, maintainable technical solutions that meet customer and business expectations
Oversee application development and release execution, including setting standards, prioritizing workloads, reviewing designs and deliverables, managing timelines, and ensuring system performance and production readiness
Provide leadership across cross-functional initiatives, mentoring team members, monitoring progress, and driving accountability for results while continuously improving processes and outcomes
Partner with business stakeholders and distribution partners to communicate priorities, manage expectations, influence technology direction, and align solutions with enterprise strategy and the technology roadmap
Manage vendor relationships, including selection, contract oversight, service-level reviews, issue escalation, and invoice tracking, while representing IT in customer and partner engagements

Required

High School Diploma is required, plus a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
9-12 years of industry experience or familiarity with industry standards, key partners, and core platforms; able to align solutions to both business needs and industry expectations
A growth-minded leader who is excited about developing teams, driving transformation, and bringing fresh ideas to improve and accelerate how work gets done while implementing improvements in AI, QA, and process or test automation
Technically fluent and bilingual in business and technology, and able to translate complex concepts across audiences
Experienced with scaled agile delivery practices and knowledgeable in SQL and Python, with the ability to guide technical conversations and decision-making
A highly adaptable communicator who can engage effectively with senior customers, partners, and stakeholders
A persuasive, collaborative, and decisive leader who navigates sensitive partner relationships, and drives alignment across teams
Some minimal annual travel required (for people manager roles only)
