Responsibilities

Provide administrative support and assist with coordinating all aspects of the Communicable Disease program at UCNW including patient, health center, and community programs

Required

Possesses a basic level of written and verbal communications skills, computational and computer skills and mathematical knowledge at a level typically acquired through completion of a general studies high school program
Possesses specific knowledge and training in public and/or community health typically acquired during completion of a certificate or license program
Three (3) years' experience in social services or public health
Experience working cross departmentally within a medical clinic and leading multi-disciplinary teams including outside agencies
Program coordination experience required
Must have the ability to analyze and report clinical outcomes and participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives
Must have the ability to understand and respond effectively and with sensitivity to special population groups, including those defined by race, ethnicity, language, age, gender, sexual orientation, economic standing & others
Familiarity and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred
Public health coursework preferred
Basic knowledge of the social and clinical aspects of living with HIV/AIDS & Hepatitis C preferred
Experience with grant research, writing, and reporting is preferred
