Responsibilities

Perform laboratory experiments as directed by senior scientist
Collaborate with scientists from other disciplines (e.g., chemistry, molecular biology, cancer biology, neuroscience and immunology) in cross-divisional teams
Keep a detailed laboratory notebook and present their progress to the group
Complete necessary training classes and maintain a safe working environment
Learn and abide by SRI’s intellectual property guidelines

Required

Bachelor's degree in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or similar discipline
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Experience with mammalian tissue culture, PCR, and/or animal handling is a plus but not required
