Responsibilities
Manage daily shop operations to ensure timely and quality production of custom closet products
Supervise, train, and motivate shop personnel to optimize productivity and maintain a safe work environment
Oversee scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to meet production deadlines
Coordinate with sales, design, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution
Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee customer satisfaction
Maintain equipment and manage maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Prepare regular reports on production status, challenges, and achievements for senior management
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in shop or operations management, preferably in manufacturing or custom cabinetry/closet industry
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with production scheduling and quality control processes
Ability to communicate effectively across departments and with external vendors
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with production management software is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
Ability to work on-site in Louisville, KY
