Enbridge is looking for a motivated and seasoned LNG technician to join their high-performing team. The Sr LNG Technician will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of facilities, including overseeing electrical and instrumentation systems and coordinating plant operations.

Responsibilities

Conducting proactive and reactive upkeep on electrical and instrumentation systems, encompassing breakers, contactors, VFDs, soft starts, generators, MCCs, batteries, and UPS systems
Applying PIDs and PFDs for troubleshooting process issues and implementing gas handling procedures and LOTOs (Lock Out, Take Out)
Controlling and continuously monitoring compression and process variables at the LNG facility
Maintaining operator qualifications and covering shifts for shiftwork operators as needed
Successfully coordinating and supervising plant operations and maintenance activities

Required

High School/GED with preference for education and/or certification in related mechanical or electrical fields
Relevant education and certifications may be considered toward experience requirement
A minimum of 7 years of experience in an industrial setting, particularly focusing on plant operations and maintenance
Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills, coupled with excellent oral and written communication abilities
Proficiency in electrical and instrumentation systems, in addition to fundamental computer skills
The capability to plan and implement gas handling procedures and troubleshoot using PIDs and PFDs
Possession of a legitimate driver's license and the capacity to use company vehicles and equipment
