Senior Communication Specialist
Acuity Insurance is seeking a Senior Communication Specialist to apply communication expertise to promote Acuity’s brand image, accurately reflecting company culture, products, and services. The role involves collaborating across teams to develop effective communications and mentoring less experienced specialists.

Routinely performs all essential functions of a Communication Specialist and provides mentorship and leadership within the Communications team
Develop high-quality, target communication content and fresh story ideas
Design advertisements, newsletters, and other communications, utilizing various mediums
Promote products and services through public relations initiatives
Lead and manage multiple projects at once
Willingness and ability to handle a wide variety of assignments with increasing complexity and responsibility
Proven ability to adapt to change through utilization of new concepts and technologies
Assist in the creation of strategic communication plans to meet future needs and expectations for Acuity
Manage budget costs, on a routine basis
Collaborate with others to support project-related communication endeavors
Highly regular, predictable attendance
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or communications preferred
Accomplishments within the communications or public relations arena, involving creative design and targeted content applied across various media formats and channels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Extraordinary interpersonal skills
Understanding of modern methods of communication
Ability to work within cross-functional groups
Demonstrated leadership skills and problem-solving skills
Drive to learn new things and stay current on customer and marketing trends, technologies, and tools
Knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Cloud programs such as Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Audition, and/or After Effects
