Responsibilities
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response protocols as appropriate
Respond to alarms, disturbances, medical events, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and request assistance from property management and/or emergency services when needed
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the commercial property interior and exterior, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity
Monitor for suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, maintenance hazards, and policy violations, and communicate observations to the appropriate contacts for resolution
Complete security-related reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and available evidence
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required
An active DoD Secret clearance is required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
A guard card and/or license is preferred
CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire
Customer service experience is preferred
