On Call IT Support Technician
Geeks and Nerds is an innovative technology company that encourages ingenuity and teamwork. They are seeking an On Call IT Support Technician to assist with physical IT issues in their Honolulu, Hawaii office as needed, responding to support requests flexibly.

Responsibilities
Install and replace hardware shipped to the office by GaN IT (hardware will be preconfigured prior to shipment)
Troubleshoot unresponsive hardware, such as power cycling switches or addressing non-responsive printers
Repair and replace Ethernet connections, including cable termination and troubleshooting
Perform basic troubleshooting for network and hardware issues
Maintain accurate records of IT system changes (such as fixes, updates, replacements)
Prepare work reports and updates for IT leadership
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
1–3+ years of experience in help desk, IT support, or computer technician roles
Basic network troubleshooting, including switches and printers
Ability to terminate Ethernet cables and troubleshoot connections
Ability to lift and carry 30–50 pounds
Ability to maneuver in tight spaces for equipment cabling
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must pass background checks required by GaN Corporation as DoD contractor
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
