Responsibilities
Analyze customer problems through data and research to inform and design delightful solutions with measurable impact
Work closely with product and business teams to develop use cases and high-level requirements
Quickly, yet thoroughly, create journey maps, flows, and mockups as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate the right detail for the audience
Develop and maintain detailed user-interface and interaction specifications
Present and defend design recommendations to partners, stakeholders, and senior leadership for review, feedback, and approval
Partner with technology teams to ensure we leverage the scale offered by our platform without compromising on core experience principles
Measure the success and effectiveness of the experiences you’re designing
Qualification
Required
Experience in design
Experience in delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer
Have an available online portfolio
Experience prototyping (HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash or Flash Catalyst, or Axure)
Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure, Keynote, and InVision
Preferred
Experience in mass-market consumer web / mobile products
Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
Experience with best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design
Experience working with the software development lifecycle from conception to delivery
Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Knowledge of Adobe design programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
Experience in leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact
Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity
