Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end cloud architecture—design, implement, and govern secure, scalable AWS (or Azure/GCP) infrastructure for large enterprise workloads
Assess and modernize workloads, develop cloud adoption roadmaps and business cases, and define target-state architectures aligned to customer needs
Design core infrastructure services (compute, storage, networking, security, logging, monitoring) using AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch/CloudTrail (or equivalents on Azure/GCP)
Establish high availability and resilience, including cluster provisioning, load balancers, caching layers, and master/slave architectures; implement DR/backup strategies
Drive architecture governance and best practices, create standards, reference designs, and thought leadership (whitepapers, seminars); mentor teams to build competency
Collaborate with stakeholders across dev, security, networking, and operations to ensure compliant, cost-optimized solutions, present architecture and recommendations to executives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT with at least 5+ years in cloud architecture and infrastructure design
Proven expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch) or equivalent Azure/GCP services, with strong knowledge of networking, security, and storage
Hands-on experience in designing and implementing large-scale, secure, and highly available cloud solutions, including Infrastructure-as-Code and migration strategies
