Akkodis Group Nordics is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in Java/Spring Boot to architect reactive services and deploy next-generation applications across Kubernetes environments.

Responsibilities

Design and develop highly scalable, fault‑tolerant, reactive microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Scala, Go, and associated frameworks such as Apache Camel
Build and deploy next‑generation microservices within Kubernetes environments across cloud platforms including GCP and Azure
Architect distributed, cloud‑native solutions with a strong focus on performance tuning, multithreading, networking, and high availability
Implement rigorous software engineering practices including unit testing (JUnit, Mockito), code reviews, documentation, and standards‑based code structuring
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, Cassandra, Cosmos DB) to design and optimize data‑driven application architectures
Collaborate with global, cross‑functional engineering teams to innovate, enhance, and deliver modern microservices aligned with enterprise technology strategy

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field
6–8 years of experience in building scalable, cloud‑native microservices and distributed systems
Strong expertise in Java/Spring Boot development with hands‑on experience deploying applications on Kubernetes across Azure or GCP
Proven ability to design high‑performance, fault‑tolerant architectures and work with both SQL and NoSQL databases
