Clerical Coordinator

Responsibilities
Position Reports to the Emergency Department Team Leader or designee
Perform variety of clerical duties including but not limited to: conduct patient interviews, provide clerical support, patient registration, data/order entry, and transcription of orders, collation of medical records and other clerical duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Equal to completion of four years of high school plus specialized courses and training
Completion and passing of the Medical Terminology course is required
A minimum of one year related work experience is required
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
Preferred
Computer skills including knowledge of the Meditech computer system and related secretarial experience are preferred
