They are seeking a part-time Email Strategist & Copywriter who will own both strategy and copy, working closely with a Project Manager and design team to create effective email campaigns.

Responsibilities
Own email strategy + copy for D2C/eCommerce brands
Plan and write high-converting email campaigns and lifecycle flows
Develop messaging angles, themes, and flow logic quickly and collaboratively
Work closely with designers to ensure copy and design work together seamlessly
Partner with a Project Manager to manage timelines, priorities, and delivery
Participate in fast feedback loops via Slack, ClickUp, and Figma
Revise and iterate copy efficiently based on feedback and performance
Balance speed, clarity, and performance without sacrificing quality
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as an Email Strategist and Copywriter for D2C / eCommerce brands
Experience owning both strategy and hands-on execution
Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, winback, etc.)
Solid grasp of direct-response principles and conversion-focused copywriting
Experience working with multiple brands or agency clients
Working knowledge of email performance metrics (CTR, CVR, revenue attribution)
Comfortable working with Klaviyo
Comfortable working with Figma (reviewing designs, commenting on copy placement)
Comfortable working with Slack (daily collaboration and communication)
Comfortable working with ClickUp (task management, deadlines, ownership)
Comfortable working with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, shared planning)
Highly responsive, organized, and deadline-driven
Preferred
Design capabilities or strong visual/layout instincts
Advanced Klaviyo technical experience (flows, segmentation, QA, personalization)
