Responsibilities
Evaluate and assess the quality of various reliability attributes of Komatsu components and products
Populate Reliability database in SolidWorks Manage in support of product issue resolution and reliability modeling of new and existing products
Perform various reliability analyses using ReliaSoft and MSExcel software
Assist with Root Cause Analysis on Komatsu products and components
Assist with machine Risk Assessments
Assist with the performance of DFMEA’s on Komatsu components and products
Create New Product Development and other Engineering process documents using MSWord and MSExcel
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Reliability Engineering, or similar, from an accredited college or university
Junior, Senior, or Master's level student in good academic standing
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team toward established goals
Excellent organization and personal time management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Possess effective problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to be creative and resourceful when needed
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Interest in or aptitude to learn about careers in the heavy equipment industry
Preferred
Basic familiarity or experience with statistics and/or reliability concepts, tools, and methods
