Responsibilities
Establish and stand up a new product-based production line within an existing facility, transforming raw space into a high-functioning manufacturing environment
Lead the end-to-end production of complex systems, ensuring all components integrate seamlessly from sub-assembly to final delivery
Rapidly accelerate production rates to meet surging demand across U.S. and Allied markets
Prove out and scale a localized supply chain capable of supporting high-capacity maritime production; push existing supply chain boundaries to achieve unprecedented volume
Set tasking for the production line, optimize workflows, and develop comprehensive metrics to monitor and report on real-time line performance
Maintain full accountability for Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Cost/Schedule performance, ensuring all units meet rigorous standards on time and within budget
Hold cross functional teams accountable to meeting demands, deadlines and goals to deliver the production on time and within budget
Drive Production, Supply Chain, and Quality, teams to build and execute upon Anduril’s 3-year strategic vision for the Undersea Dominance domain in the US
Establish and manage team to financial, quality, and on-time delivery KPIs to understand how our manufacturing operations are impacting our business
Advise on development and oversee implementation of digital technologies, from PLM and ERP to our custom MES and QMS systems, that enable our production operations to efficiently scale while meeting customer requirements
Be accountable to AS9100D guidelines
Qualification
Required
5+ year of Production leadership role within the hardware development industry with a track record of successfully scaling products from prototype to full rate production
Proven track record of scaling production systems to meet demanding delivery schedules, including implementing processes for sustained high-rate manufacturing
Significant professional experience spanning both Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations
Proven success navigating the unique complexities of the local supply chains
Demonstrated experience taking a production system from low-volume/prototype stages to high-rate, rapid execution
Ability to develop and implement operational metrics, production schedules, and quality control frameworks from scratch
Experience standing up new sites or international expansions, particularly for defense or critical infrastructure applications
