Comet X-ray is a leading Swiss technology company specializing in innovative high-tech components and systems based on X-ray technology. They are seeking a Technical Customer Support Manager to provide regional technical support, deliver training, and enhance customer experience in the Industrial X-Ray Modules division.

Responsibilities

Provide regional (2nd-level) Technical Customer Support for our products to both customers and internal stakeholders, including Sales, Order Management, and the Inhouse Repair team
Deliver pre-sale product demonstrations, in addition to post-sale OEM-customer support to customers, including training, integration, installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting (post-sale) in our Shelton facility, on-site at the customer location, or remotely
Create training content for in-person and E-learning platforms, and coordinate, schedule and deliver the training sessions. Establish and maintain consistent standards and processes
Accompany our Sales team on customer visits and attend trade shows
Work closely with Product Management, Quality Management and Production to enhance customer perspective and improve our products. Facilitate communication between customer and in-house repair team
Create and maintain service manuals and define spare part list for OEM-customers

Required

Associate's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or demonstrated equivalent experience
Hands-on experience in technical customer support or field service, preferably 5 years or more
Mechanical installation and repair skills, with demonstrated troubleshooting capabilities
Professional-level communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, end-users, and internal teams
Demonstrated self-starter mentality and ability to work independently without daily direction
Willingness to travel in North America up to 25% of the time for customer activities, training events, trade shows, etc
Effective method for keeping up to date with new product developments and industry trends
Strong computer and database skills to use MS Office software, software tools such as SAP, Salesforce, Confluence, JIRA, and TeamViewer

Preferred

Five (5) year's relevant experience, including experience servicing and troubleshooting X-Ray technology, particularly HV-generators and tubes
Hands-on knowledge of X-Ray applications, particularly digital imaging
