Technical Program Manager II, AI Enablement

Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders to prioritize learning curriculums and participate in the execution of a comprehensive AI/ML training strategy across the enterprise, targeting technical teams, business leaders, and general employees. This includes workshops, e-learning, documentation, and certifications focused on AI principles, platforms, and best practices
Facilitate internal AI/ML education initiatives, ranging from broad-based learning sessions aimed at increasing general employee AI literacy
Develop and implement a robust internal communications strategy for the AI Office, translating complex AI/ML initiatives into clear, compelling, and relevant messaging for diverse internal audiences, including executive leadership
Oversee the creation and management of AI-related communication materials (e.g., newsletters, executive summaries, internal articles, presentations) and training content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with EchoStar’s strategic vision
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for training program effectiveness and communications reach. Use data-driven insights to continuously refine and optimize content and delivery methods to boost AI adoption and literacy across the company
Integrate training and communication around Responsible AI, ethics, governance, and data privacy to ensure all AI deployments adhere to EchoStar's commitment to fairness, transparency, and compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Computer Science, Organizational Development, or a related technical or business field
5-7 years of experience in communications, corporate training, learning & development, or program management, preferably within a fast-paced technology or telecommunications company
Proven, hands-on experience developing and deploying technical and non-technical training programs specifically focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), or Data Science concepts
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to distill complex, technical AI concepts into accessible, business-focused narratives for all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs, including risk mitigation and establishing measurable program goals and timelines
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), communication platforms (e.g., Google Workspace), and modern instructional design tools
Preferred
Experience working directly within an AI/ML or Data Science organization (e.g., an AI Center of Excellence or dedicated AI Office)
Certifications in Program Management (e.g., PgMP, PMP) or Instructional Design
Familiarity with the AI/ML technologies and platforms used in satellite or telecommunications industries
Demonstrated expertise or advanced familiarity in leveraging enterprise generative AI tools (e.g., Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot) for content creation or workflow automation
