Responsibilities
Oversight of multiple facilities and some travel will be involved
Support administrative team relative to leadership of SHS issues
Coordinate employee and management SHS training and development needs
Coordinates facility safety/security related occurrence root cause investigations and implement appropriate corrective actions
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required in Safety or Health or equivalent experience
Two (2) years or more in business with direct employee management required
Two (2) years or more in management of employee safety and health issues or a working knowledge of OSHA/DOT regulatory standards is preferred required
Preferred
Strong safety experience preferred with ability to shape safety culture across multiple facilities, proactively identifying risks, guiding operational leaders, and ensuring consistent follow‑through on corrective actions that truly stick
Prior success in measurable improvements in OSHA/DOT compliance preferred, to foster a reduction of incidents and elevate safety performance
Experience leading training and development for frontline employees and leadership teams preferred
