Responsibilities
Make outbound calls on accounts where payments have been missed and resolve service issues while controlling delinquency
Escalate any important issues to the attention of the Industrial Senior Account Manager
Resolve customer delinquency problems or vendor delivery issues so as to retain customers and achieve permanent corrective action. Make arrangement to obtain customer payments, process phone payments, etc
Answer field and customer questions concerning the credit program and account status
Quote payoffs, provide account status, facilitate resolution of Vendor issues, etc
Manage transition of post-graduation accounts to appropriate servicing Franchisees
Ensure day to day activities and collection procedures adhere to corporate policy
Counsel and advise Industrial sales & management team on credit sales, collections, and customer credit concerns
Promote Snap-on Credit’s EC program
Educate Industrial field sales personnel on EC program features and benefits
Handle inbound customer, Account Manager, and Franchisee calls with questions about Industrial EC accounts
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
1-3+ years of professional business experience
Preferred
BS or BA degree or equivalent professional experience
1-3 years of credit and collections experience
Business understanding and demonstrated skills and knowledge in: Credit and collections
Credit laws and regulations
Reporting requirements
Communications – verbal and written
Computer applications
