MCPC is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to support one of their established clients located in Independence, OH. This role involves administering, maintaining, and optimizing the client’s Azure cloud environment while collaborating with internal teams to ensure security and performance.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure within the client’s environment

Monitor cloud systems and optimize performance, cost, and operational efficiency

Apply and maintain security best practices to protect Azure resources

Work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable cloud solutions

Create and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code tools

Diagnose and resolve issues related to Azure services, integrations, and performance

Maintain documentation for all cloud systems, processes, and configurations

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Provide technical support, guidance, and recommendations to client stakeholders and MCPC internal teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; experience in financial services is a plus

5+ years of hands-on experience managing Azure cloud environments

Strong understanding of Azure architecture and cloud computing principles

Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI

Familiarity with identity and access management and cloud security best practices

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred

Preferred certifications: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent
