Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Lead
Mission.dev is a platform for hiring, vetting, and managing software development talents, seeking to strengthen and scale ecommerce capabilities for their client. The Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Lead will be responsible for growing online revenue across multiple channels, focusing on execution informed by performance data and building systems to unlock growth.
Responsibilities
Own performance across direct and third-party ecommerce channels
Work closely with Sales and IT to optimize presence on large retail platforms (e.g. Home Depot, Walmart, Tractor Supply) ahead of the 2026 season
Put the right processes, tools, and roles in place to support scalable ecommerce operations
Track and report against clear performance objectives
Define a practical ecommerce growth strategy across DTC and B2B use cases
Build ROI-backed plans to support technology, marketing, and operational investments
Design and run test cases to validate new initiatives before scaling
Improve long-term growth readiness by aligning people, process, and technology
Qualification
Required
5+ years of ecommerce experience, with hands-on ownership of revenue outcomes
Strong working knowledge of Shopify
Experience operating within large retailer or marketplace platforms
5+ years of digital marketing experience focused on traffic, conversion, and revenue
Strong operational mindset with an understanding of how systems, teams, and tools interact
Comfortable building business cases and articulating ROI
Clear communicator across technical, sales, and creative teams
Preferred
Preference for candidates in the Dallas area
