Integration Engineer Manager - Launch Operations, Amazon Leo, Amazon Leo
Amazon is launching a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide broadband connectivity to underserved communities. The Integration Engineer Manager will lead the launch operations final integration team, ensuring satellite readiness for launch and overseeing all joint operations with launch vehicle providers.

Responsibilities
Work with engineering teams, mission management, and launch vehicle providers to ensure satellite readiness for launch
Develop integrated operations procedures for new and existing vehicles
Own anomaly resolution and corrective action implementation
Drive engineering project throughout launch campaigns, make technical trade-offs, and resolve blocking issues
Provide launch readiness for the engineering team
Provide on console support during launch countdown
Assist in hiring personnel (engineers and technicians) related to above tasking
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent, or Bachelor's degree
3+ years of technical leadership role
5+ years of experience with space launch systems and operations
3+ years experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
Able to pass Kennedy Space Center background checks
Able to obtain and maintain a US Passport and Must meet customs entry requirements to include but not limited to: Yellow Fever vaccine and other immunization requirements as recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
Preferred
5+ years of Space Vehicle/Satellite Operations, Space Communications or related industry experience
Experience communicating effectively with senior leadership
5+ years experience in space hardware integration operations
Experience with launch vehicle electrical testing and networking
Highly familiar with QTP/ATP and production test methods, and automated data acquisition and collection
Formal training/certification in Operational Excellence Systems (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, etc.) a plus
Strong organizational, analytical, root cause analysis and problem solving skills
