Responsibilities
Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution
Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge
Develop innovative solutions to complex problems
Work without considerable direction
Mentor and supervise team members
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods and tools, such as Confluence, GitLab, and Jira
5+ years of experience with software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
Experience with building and scaling IAM roles and policies for an enterprise grade application in AWS
Experience building out and maintaining infrastructure as code with Terraform
Experience provisioning computer networking and storage, and setting up servers that the platform is on, including virtual machine (VMs) or networks
Top Secret clearance
DoD 8170 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification, such as Security+
Compliant Computing Environment Certification, such as AWS Cloud Practitioner
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, or 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering in lieu of a degree
Preferred
Experience with API services, including AWS API Gateway and Mulesoft, and AI Services in AWS
Experience in the development, configuration, implementation, and operation of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
Experience with building out, maintaining, and automating CI/CD configuration management tools within GitLab
Experience with containerization and container orchestration platforms and tools
Experience automating CI/CD pipelines with tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab
