Responsibilities
Supporting the client’s project management team through the project life cycle (Planning and Scoping, Design, Construction, Closeout)
Pulling together the Jacobs team members required to deliver the task order specific services
Participate in the planning of Design-Build projects from an Owner’s Consultant perspective to ensure client goals and key objectives are accomplished within prescribed a time frame and funding parameters
Managing new greenfield, maintenance headquarters projects with aggressive schedules
Managing smaller projects such as HVAC replacements, roof replacements and seismic upgrade type projects simultaneously
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate Degree – preferably in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture
15+ years experience of combined Project Management, Construction Management and Engineering Management
Experience with Design-Build. Progressive Design-Build delivery experience is preferred
Facilities Construction and Refurbishment project experience
Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building
Strong project controls, cost estimate review experience, specifically with review and administration of GMP contracts
Change management experience
Strong project delivery experience and comfortable acting in a consulting role providing guidance and recommendations to project team
Some travel will be required to project sites throughout a multi-state geography
Preferred
Design Build Institute of America certification or ability to attain certification
Experience using Procore or similar project/construction management information system platform
