They are seeking an experienced Patternmaker to support womenswear development on a contract basis, working closely with the Founder and design team to create, develop, and refine patterns with a strong focus on fit and quality.

Responsibilities
Create, develop, and refine patterns based on provided sketches, tech packs, and measurements
Ensure accurate fit, proportion, and construction across styles
Revise patterns based on fit feedback and design direction
Prepare development- and production-ready patterns and graded sets as needed
Collaborate remotely with the Founder and design team throughout the development process
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Patternmaker in womenswear
Demonstrated experience developing patterns for petite sizing, including proportion and fit adjustments beyond standard grading
Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and pattern development
Experience working from tech packs and measurement specifications
Contractors must have access to their own patternmaking software and equipment
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Gerber, Optitex, CLO, Browzwear, or equivalent
Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment
Preferred
Los Angeles/San Francisco–based candidates are a plus for occasional in-person collaboration but not required
