Electrical Engineering Technician
United Protective Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to play a key role in the development and testing of electrical equipment. This role involves working under the direction of senior engineering staff and requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
Ability to complete a technical project independently
Review customer specifications and requirements and develop designs to best support them
Evaluate supplier components and subsystems to meet requirements
Assemble and test prototypes to retire key development risks
Communicate clearly (written and oral) with all stakeholders
Provide technical assistance to other engineers and support personnel
Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization
Qualification
Required
Ability to complete a technical project independently
Review customer specifications and requirements and develop designs to best support them
Evaluate supplier components and subsystems to meet requirements
Assemble and test prototypes to retire key development risks
Communicate clearly (written and oral) with all stakeholders
Provide technical assistance to other engineers and support personnel
Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization
Experience working with program management and engineering to meet product specifications and engineering standards
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to all stakeholders
Experience prototyping and testing both AC/DC, power, digital circuits, and controls electronics
Experience in integration and testing of electrical systems and sensors
Experience in Microsoft Office Software
Ability to multitask and handle changing work assignments, schedules, and priorities
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Must be a US Citizen
Associates with 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience assembly and test of analog/digital circuits, control systems and power conversion
Preferred
Understanding of SBIR and military R&D process
Experience with MIL-STD design and testing
