Responsibilities

Building knowledge serving sub-systems & APIs
Developing on-device data processing runtime & storage
Collaborating with different teams at Apple to create groundbreaking technology
Shipping code that runs on the devices that many people use every day
Contributing to a variety of aspects in the stack
Improving existing code and contributing to overall system design

Required

B.S or M.S in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Strong computer science fundamentals required - no matter how you got them
Ability to write reliable, resilient, performant and well-tested code
Strong problem solving and debugging skills
Strong technical communication and presentation skills
Hands-on experience with at least one compiled language (C/C++/Objective-C, Swift, Go, Java, Rust, etc.), and multi-threaded applications
Experience building production software systems within large engineering projects

Preferred

Familiarity with database systems and operating system concepts
Experience with performance profiling and tracing tools
Experience with macOS/iOS development
