Interact, initiate, and encourage the children in the activities during the day
Help the children control behavior using a positive, appropriate approach; always to use a consistent technique
Provide nurturance but help the children become independent
Promote integral learning during mealtime; to help the children learn good social skills
Maintain good communication with parents and to make each parent feel at ease at the Center
Assist the teacher in planning activities for the group and to offer suggestions and information about the children
Develop a cooperating and supportive attitude within the room
Attend monthly staff meetings held by the Director of the Center
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Assist lead teachers in a variety of functions, including observing, supervising and organizational duties, and optimizing the learning and play environment
