Responsibilities
Support planning and execution of formulation and R&D projects, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables
Coordinate cross-functional activities between formulation chemists, engineering, analytical, QA/QC, regulatory, and operations
Track project progress, laboratory timelines, and key technical dependencies
Maintain project documentation such as development plans, change logs, and technical summaries
Schedule and facilitate project meetings; capture action items and follow up on deliverables
Identify potential project risks (e.g., formulation challenges, raw material availability, testing delays) and escalate as needed
Support sample management, stability testing timelines, and pilot or scale-up coordination
Assist with change control, documentation reviews, and communication to stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in project coordination or project management, preferably in R&D, formulation, or laboratory settings
Basic understanding of formulation development and laboratory workflows
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Hands-on experience in a formulation, lab, or product development environment
Ability to communicate effectively with scientists, engineers and non-technical stakeholders
Strong planning and prioritization skills
Problem-solving and risk awareness
Adaptability in a fast-paced R&D environment
Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn technical concepts
Preferred
PMP certification or project management coursework
