Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and procure materials, components, equipment, and services to meet project and operational requirements
Issue purchase orders, review specifications, drawings, and scope of work to ensure accuracy and completeness
Negotiate pricing, terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions with suppliers and subcontractors
Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement
Coordinate closely with Engineering, Project Managers, and Site Teams to align procurement activities with project timelines
Track and manage purchase order status, expediting materials as needed to support critical project milestones
Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulatory standards
Support cost control initiatives by identifying savings opportunities and alternative sourcing strategies
Resolve pricing, delivery, quality, and invoice discrepancies with suppliers
Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reporting within ERP or procurement systems
Assist with supplier audits, performance reviews, and approved vendor management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred
3–7 years of procurement or purchasing experience, ideally within industrial services, engineering, construction, or manufacturing
Strong understanding of project-based procurement and supply chain processes
Experience sourcing mechanical, electrical, industrial, or engineered materials is highly desirable
Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of industrial materials, fabrication, installation, or automation environments
Familiarity with contract terms and conditions (commercial and technical)
Understanding of logistics, shipping, and customs considerations (a plus)
Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
Proactive, results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
