Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers
Set clear goals, manage workload, and prioritize engineering projects
Foster a culture of safety, quality, innovation, and accountability
Partner with the Director of Business Process to develop engineering strategy and annual plans
Provide engineering oversight for crushing, screening, conveying, and material handling systems
Lead design, specification, and optimization of plant layouts, equipment, and process flows
Ensure engineering documentation, drawings, and calculations meet quality and regulatory standards
Troubleshoot equipment failures, bottlenecks, and process inefficiencies
Support reliability initiatives, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning
Develop and maintain standards for equipment performance, maintenance practices, and engineering procedures
Identify and implement improvements in plant throughput, reliability, energy efficiency, and safety
Evaluate new technologies, automation, and equipment upgrades
Drive standardization across branches and engineering practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mining, Industrial, or related Engineering field
7+ years of engineering experience in heavy industrial, aggregates, mining, or crushing operations
2+ years in a leadership, supervisory, or project management role
Strong knowledge of crushing circuits, screening, conveyors, pumps, material flow, and industrial equipment
Demonstrated ability to lead engineering projects and manage cross functional initiatives
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across operations, maintenance, and leadership teams
Preferred
Experience in a small to mid size company or entrepreneurial environment
Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software
