Responsibilities
Define and implement strategy/approach for E2E management of cloud and on-prem infrastructure of technology platforms and systems supporting large scale PBM & Pharmacy business/operations
Collaborate with both IT & Business leaders across the enterprise to determine DevOps best practices and Infrastructure technical requirements of applications/systems
Responsible to build CICD automation pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and manage deployments across various environments
Implement 24x7 infrastructure and application performance monitoring (APM) to ensure high availability, optimal performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
Ensure disaster recovery, business continuity and audit plans are implemented, monitored, and updated on a recurring basis
At a regular cadence identify and exploit opportunities to optimize infrastructure, increase efficiency without any negative impact to ongoing business/operations
Act as an escalation point for faults, attend/lead investigation into incidents and complete follow-up tasks
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports
Qualification
Required
BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study
Minimum of 7 years of IT management experience
Experience with Infrastructure design and scaling (IaC, HPA) containers in Kubernetes
Experience with Cloud Networking & Security Integration – AWS and Azure with Hybrid On-prem
Tactical Operations experience – Cloud patching, AMI rehydration, Cluster upgrades
Experience with Azure and AWS
Knowledge of the following platforms: GitHub, Terraform, Datadog, Splunk, Bamboo, Kafka and BitBucket
Experience with the following databases/data warehouses: PostgreSQL, Oracle, RedShift, and Snowflake
Knowledge of Apigee OPDK/ Hybrid/ X, Akamai
