Akkodis Group Nordics is seeking a Functional Analyst for a contract position. The role involves leading functional testing activities, executing various testing types, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality in the banking and financial domain.

Responsibilities

Lead functional testing activities by developing test plans, test cases, and documentation aligned with SDLC methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
Execute functional, integration, and regression testing using HP ALM, JIRA, and industry‑standard QA tools to ensure software quality
Analyze system requirements, perform system assessments, and troubleshoot application issues across banking and financial domain applications
Define testing metrics, create measurement plans, and compile detailed reports to track software process performance and quality outcomes
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support defect management, requirements validation, and continuous improvement of testing processes
Ensure adherence to testing standards, automated frameworks, and best practices while guiding teams through QA methodologies and tool usage

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
5–8 years for Test Analysts and 10+ years for Test Leads, with strong functional testing exposure
Proven expertise in functional testing, QA methodologies, and documentation using HP ALM, JIRA, and related testing tools
Solid experience working in the banking or financial domain with strong knowledge of SDLC, testing standards, and test automation practices
