Responsibilities

Support delivering world-class water and wastewater services for municipal and private sector clients
Develop and implement a water market growth strategy
Retain and build a team of engineers and planners to deliver challenging water and wastewater projects
Understand unique trends in the market to create technical differentiation
Lead and support business development activities with key clients resulting in acquisition of new projects
Perform the role of Project Manager supporting various projects and programs within a defined client portfolio
Lead and manage project teams throughout all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout
Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of projects with high degrees of technical complexity
Lead a multidiscipline team to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets
Mentor and coach early and mid-career engineers and designers
Identify new opportunities in which Jacobs can further service clients and communities
Lead and mentor staff, forming long-term relationships with clients and pursuing new work

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
A minimum of 8 years of experience in direct management of project teams
Professional Engineer (P.E.) License or ability to obtain in 6 months
Proven experience in planning and designing small to large projects

Preferred

Proven experience managing teams of design, scientific, and technology professionals
Strong network with local municipalities, private utilities, and other water/wastewater, conveyance, and water resources clients locally
Active in a professional organization
Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
