Vice President, Store Development

Responsibilities

Partner with Zone Sales Directors to develop, monitor, and evaluate financial, sales, and operational plans to meet or exceed zone performance objectives
Collaborate with the Zone Vice President to provide leadership and direction to Regional Directors and District Managers, driving daily, weekly, and monthly sales programs
Ensure merchandising strategies, standards, and operational programs are clearly communicated and consistently executed across the field
Drive discretionary, seasonal, and third-party vendor sales performance to achieve company objectives
Oversee new store openings, renovations, and special projects to ensure brand standards are maintained and financial targets are achieved
Lead and manage the Store Development team responsible for execution of all new stores, renovations, and special projects through completion
Travel to new store and special project locations to assess execution, identify gaps, and partner with teams on opportunities for improvement
Provide feedback, recommendations, and solutions to improve store opening and renovation processes; communicate insights to senior leadership as needed
Identify and implement process improvements related to new store openings to support long-term growth plans
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to coordinate budgeting aligned to prioritized store needs
Manage capital and expense budgets for special projects, including scope, timelines, and store selection
Oversee labor planning and execution for projects, including store teams, Store Development resources, and third-party partners

Required

10+ years of experience in retail operations, field leadership, store development, or merchandising execution within a multi-unit environment
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Proven experience driving sales and operational results through partnership with field leadership teams
Demonstrated success leading new store openings, renovations, and special projects while maintaining brand standards
Experience managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional execution for store or field initiatives
Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence across functions
