Manager, Revenue Cycle, Centralized Auth, and Managed Care

Qualification
Required
Registered Pharmacist in the State of California
Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Pharm D), or equivalent training
Completion of Post Graduate Year Two (PGY2), or five (5) years of professional experience
Experience in leading or supervising pharmacy operations
Knowledge in Pharmacy practice and industry best practices in optimizing the use of medications to treat patients
Ability to stay updated on pharmacy regulations, drug products, and developments in research and design
Knowledge of all pharmacy federal and state laws and regulations
Leadership skills in employee supervision and HR administration to effectively lead and motivate others
Conflict resolution skills to resolve personnel issues and counsel assigned staff to develop cooperative working relationships
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a complex, challenging environment
Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility, and ability to anticipate and effectively handle change
Customer service orientation to respond quickly and with empathy to patient issues
Ability to organize operations in an efficient and effective manner through improving workflow systems and protocols
Ability to collaborate within and across departments to coordinate daily Pharmacy activities and resolve problems
Interpersonal skills to maintain professional relationships with peers, patients, multidisciplinary team members, senior management, and assigned staff

Experience in one of the following practice areas: Health System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership, 340B, Business Analytics, Finance, Revenue Cycle, Automation, Technology
Practice in multi-site or system roles
Experience using or management of EMR, Epic hospital billing, medication charging
Comprehensive knowledge of finance and budget policies, practices and systems, budgeting and reporting techniques, capital resource planning, accounting, revenue cycle management, pharmacy reimbursement rates
Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis abilities
Proficiency in financial analysis, business analytics software, and data visualization platforms
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
Strong leadership qualities and the ability to lead and motivate a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
Written and oral communication skills to clearly and concisely develop business plans, proposals, presentations, and financial reports
