Responsibilities
Work closely with, and under the supervision of, the Executive Producer on broadcast and other productions
Work closely with the creative team, manage and oversee all activities directly related to the media production process
Manage and coordinate all staffing resources, employees, vendors and contractors to effectively support on and offsite shoots, tapings, webcasts, and other media related events
Manage all aspects of filming on taping days, including set design, props, scripts, outside vendors and crew to ensure all elements needed are secured
Facilitate the production process on set to ensure taping is completed on time, within budget, and meeting the agreed upon artistic and technical standards
Plan and direct studio activities and production set design and maintenance
Edit content postproduction as needed; approve sound bites and footage
Create work schedules for direct reports and coordinate specific staffing and editing needs for broadcasts
Responsible for the quality control of productions including TV Show, OTOs and all other media productions for accuracy and ministry style guide
Manage the different aspects of the production cycle by collaborating with creative teams and other support areas
Manage the maintenance and service schedule for production and editing equipment both at the studio and in the office
Work closely with captioning vendor to ensure the programs are delivered and air-ready according to the Production delivery schedule and station guidelines
Work closely with staff editor(s) to ensure they have all elements needed for production
Ensures proper training and usage of SOP/Policy/Work Instructions for job functions, as well as supporting team members
Demonstrate pursuit of operational excellence being proactive in making enhancements and/or identifying/preventing risks or potential problems
Provide overall thought leadership regarding our productions and production operations submitting plans to support our mission work, and connection to our partners
Retain, and manage the BP team members in support of the overall ministry mission and strategy
Qualification
Required
Strong Christian faith
Experience in managing and coordinating staff, resources, and processes associated with media and broadcast events and productions
Ability to oversee all aspects of film production and distribution focusing primarily on the business side of production
Experience in hiring and managing crews
Strategic planning skills
Ability to ensure productions are completed on time, within budget, and to agreed upon artistic and technical standards
Experience working closely with an Executive Producer on broadcast and other productions
Ability to manage and oversee all activities related to the media production process
Experience managing and coordinating staffing resources, employees, vendors, and contractors for media-related events
Ability to manage filming on taping days, including set design, props, scripts, and outside vendors
Experience facilitating the production process on set
Ability to plan and direct studio activities and production set design and maintenance
