2+ years expAtomic Semi is building a small, fast semiconductor fab. They are seeking a People Operations Generalist to manage and enhance the day-to-day systems that support their employees, including payroll, benefits, and the entire employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Own onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle changes, and records management
Run end-to-end payroll processing in Rippling
Manage benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee communications
Maintain accurate employee data across HRIS, payroll, and benefits platforms
Be the go-to person for employee questions on policies, benefits, and HR programs
Own U.S. immigration processes and partner with immigration counsel to track visa status, deadlines, and compliance
Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Handle required postings, audits, training, and policy updates
Support HR projects like policy rollouts, learning programs, and compliance initiatives
Find ways to streamline and improve operations
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of HR experience in a startup/high-growth environment, or 4+ years in a larger organization
Experience with benefits administration and open enrollment
Working knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR best practices
Experience running payroll, onboarding, and offboarding
Familiarity with U.S. immigration processes
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Discretion and professionalism with sensitive information
Preferred
Familiarity with OSHA or regulated/lab environments
Experience with external partners like insurance brokers and outside counsel
Startup experience during growth phases
