Engineering Technician
APR Consulting Inc is working with a DoD/Aerospace client seeking an Engineering Technician - Secret to support engineering activities involving design, testing, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems. The role includes responsibilities such as troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying electronic devices, as well as conducting experiments under guidance.

Responsibilities
Layout, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic or electromechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems
Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment and components
Perform calibration and alignment checks
Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions
Construct, modify, debug, test, and adjust a variety of tools/equipment based on drawings and instructions
Implement basic practical solutions to support process improvements
Conduct and document experiments under the guidance of senior technicians
Build basic tooling and fixtures to support unique tasks
Organize and analyze data to identify cause/effect relationships and recommend improvements
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent, including vocational training
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Ability to acquire job-specific skills and follow established procedures
Ability to fabricate simple hardware
General computer and test equipment proficiency
Department of Defense active Secret security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred
1st Class FCC License
Solder Repair Certification
