The intern will implement tools and processes to ensure product quality and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues.

Responsibilities
Assist with defect data analytics and material to be presented by engineers
Perform quick-check assessments within manufacturing environment
Supplement microelectronics inspection training materials with newly released criteria illustrations
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Engineering
Participate and interact with other interns in sector wide activities
Develop understanding of BAE Systems Quality Management System
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a technical field including (but not limited to) with an expected graduation date in 2027: Hardware – Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software – Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, Mathematics, Physics, Information Systems, Quality Management
Preferred
Hands-on experience with Electronics Assemblies
Outstanding communication skills
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership experience
Capacity and motivation for hard work
Experience in defense electronics industry
Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma practices
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
Relevant quality certifications
Technical internships/co-ops
Exposure to ISO 9001, CMMI, or AS9100
