Responsibilities

Lead development of social strategy, community & storytelling across platforms (tiktok, instagram, youtube shorts, etc)
Lead ideation of social-first concepts that are distinctive, platform-native, and built to drive both engagement and brand relevance- from campaigns to daily execution
Create scalable, platform-native content systems and storytelling formats that balance performance insight with boundary-pushing creative
Use platform data, audience behavior, and performance signals (retention, saves, shares, engagement) to inform creative decisions and evolve content strategy
Define KPIs and track performance to keep us growing and improving
Develop big, ownable brand ideas that extend across social, creators, partnerships, retail, and real-world experiences
Identify cultural opportunities and shape them into timely, relevant brand moments
Ensure social storytelling supports larger brand priorities, including launches, campaigns, and retail initiatives
Set and evolve the visual and tonal direction of social, with a high bar for taste and execution
Partner closely with the Design Director to ensure strong visual execution and brand consistency
Collaborate with design (and jump in when needed) on layouts, edits, and content reviews
Lead and develop the content team & network of content creators
Build and manage a flexible, fast-moving content calendar that balances always-on content, launches, and real-time moments
Translate brand strategy into clear content frameworks and formats

Required

8-10+ years experience leading concept-driven social content at a high-growth brand or agency
Creative background (creative strategy, art direction, content creation, or similar)
Deep understanding of how social content ladders into broader brand moments across retail, events, partnerships, influencers and campaigns
Hands-on understanding of organic social strategy and how content is discovered and scaled - obsessed with all things social & community
Experience owning or heavily influencing the creative direction of a brand's social presence
Portfolio demonstrating strong taste, storytelling, and visual judgment
Hands-on, scrappy, and energized by building systems as you go
Track record of building content series, creative systems, and storytelling platforms
Experience leading brand collaborations, partnerships, or cultural moments

Preferred

Experience in a high-growth, startup environment for brands with an omnichannel or retail presence
